Tiger's Story...
Tiger is a sweet, loving and gentle boy. He has very good manners and is a little on the shy side until he gets to know you. He plays well with others and greets them nicely. He would do great in a home with another dog as he really loves their company. He walks well on the leash and comes when you call him. He likes to go outside for awhile and is very comfortable inside. Has been around all ages of kids and people, and has done very well. We don't know about cats because we have not seen him around them but with his laid back temperament, we suspect he would do fine.. So far he seems to be the perfect dog, then the foster comes home from work and he is laying on the bed across the pillows...:) He will be an wonderful addition to any family!!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiger, a Bellingham Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
