Milagro's Story...
Hi FRIENDS! How are you? I hope you are having a good day! If there is one thing I want in this world it's for everyone to be happy, it makes me so happy when you are happy!! I am Milagro a super social 6 year old Lab/Border Collie mix with a love of snacks, couches and football. A perfect fit for anyone who lives for Super Bowl Sunday, that's for sure! I do very well with other dogs and no problem with the kitty cats! I am best suited for a home with no young children. Oh, there is one little thing I should mention, I recently had one of my back legs amputated (updated profile picture to follow)! Really, it's OK, and the ladies at Pixie Project would be happy to give you the full story with all the details! I have absolutely no problem getting around and will be the best companion for runs on the beach or hikes in the woods. Are you looking for a dog that is gentle, tenderhearted and is grateful for evenings on the couch just as much as evenings out on the town? Then I am the one for you! Fill out an application at so we can schedule a meet and greet. I am fixed, vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is $200.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Milagro, a Portland Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Portland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
