Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Cattle Dog Mix Puppy for adoption in Largo, Florida - BERNIE

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

BERNIE's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

BERNIE's Story...
Bernie is about 6 months. He is neutered and up to date on all his shots and flea/heart meds. He is also chipped. All the papers will come with Bernie.

We believe he was a Shepard mix. Maybe some corgi? He is said to max out about 35-40 lb. He is about 27 lbs now. He was the odd ball of the litter. Only a nub for a tail.

He is crate trained. Sleeps thru the night in his crate. Fully potty trained. Though on occasion has happy tinkles when overly excited.

He would be awesome with a house with other animals. It is the one thing that would be so good for him to have a companion. He is also good with kids. Does like to jump up in excitement for attention...We are working on it. He loves the attention and loves to be scratched. He regularly plays with a little chihuahua. Every pet encounter, Bernie has always been the first to lay down to another dog. He has no urge to be an alpha.

He is a puppy so he still has a lot of energy. Smart puppy that understand basic commands. He is a puppy still... so he could use a bit more training.

We are hoping that he can be fostered/adopted ASAP. Because of allergies and change in schedules ... he is now having to be left alone for several hours at a time by himself. It is so unfair to Bernie but can not be avoided. We worry it can eventually change his loving friendly spirit.
His adoption fee is $150

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BERNIE, a Largo Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Cattle Dog for sale in Largo, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Largo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Largo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Largo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Cattle Dog breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Largo paves the way for another one to be saved.
