Jed's Story...
JED HAS A MEET UP SCHEDULED WITH A POTENTIAL ADOPTER!
Let me tell you 'bout a story 'bout a dog named Jed! This little guy hails from Wakulla County in the Florida Panhandle - a bit of a country boy we reckon. Jed has a SUPER sweet disposition and has taken quite well to being part of a human family where he gets regular doses of affection (and we've managed to put a little weight on his skinny body!) Yes sir - he sure enjoys being a lap dog and being cuddled! He can be playful and puppyish when he is frisky, but he really wants to come back to his human after a bit of frolicking and sniffing about. Jed can be quite content curling up somewhere and does not have to be entertained. He is getting along wonderfully with the other dogs in his foster family and has earned an A+ in housetraining. He has learned to follow verbal commands 'sit', 'down' and 'in your crate' and is working on stay - a hard one indeed! He can still use a little work on learning which treat is his and which is someone elses - but he is quite good natured about it all.
Jed is absolutely a joy to have around and will make some lucky family a great pet.

The SouthEast Beagle Rescue Inc is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and finding new loving homes for unwanted, abandoned and abused Beagles and Beagle mixed dogs. We strive to reduce pet overpopulation by spaying/neutering our Beagles prior to adoption. We shall also be a resource to the community for information on the Beagle breed. We are an all volunteer and foster based not-for-profit organization.
