Yang's Story...

Coco, Memphis, Ying and Yang were born outside.  We found them when we were trapping and fixing cats in the neighborhood.

Born late September or early October.

YANG: 
Ying and Yang are sisters.  They love to play together and chase each other, but their personalities are very different.  Yang (with the black mask) is very inquisitive.  We are completely taken by the little black dot in the middle of her nose.  It’s heart-shaped and so we sometimes call her ‘Ticker’ after that sweet little heart.  Of the two sisters, she is more timid around people and takes longer to warm up, but she’s the first to investigate any new sound or activity.  She is full of action and keeps us laughing with her crazy antics.  She does like to climb on things and few glass candlesticks were lost to one of her window sill explorations.  She wants to see what we are doing when we are eating and she crawls around the back of the sofa when we are watching TV.  She likes gentle petting.  If your hand is too heavy, she will try to get away.  She has never scratched us, not even when she wanted to get down, but we have been careful to take things on her terms.  She does still hide when we come into the room, but she quickly comes out again.  Yang will approach us on her own at this point, but tends to hang back and is still a little bit shy about ‘asking’ for pets.  When we give them, she is ok with that.  She has a few favorite toys:  window blind cords are a favorite, so they need to be tied up.  She also likes her plush ball that has a bell inside it and carries it around in her mouth with great pride once she has ‘killed’ it.  Either (or please both together!) of these girls will be a great companion with a little investment of patience and love.

Fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and negative for fiv/felv.  Adoption fee $80 or 2 for $120

About Our Rescue Group...
Purrfect Friends Cat Rescue is an all-volunteer, non-profit group working to end the plight and suffering of unwanted cats and kittens in the greater Cincinnati area. We do this by educating the general public about the importance of spaying or neutering their pets to lessen the drastic over-population of cats; we provide foster homes to cats and kittens waiting for adoption, and provide information and guidance to people working to help the feral cat population through TNR (trap, neuter and release) efforts.

Meet the cats every Saturday at our adoption events (details listed below), and you can see the cats on Petfinders and 1800save-a-pet in the hopes of finding good homes for them.

Come Meet Our Pets...
Adoptions Events are held on Saturdays at the several local Petsmart and Petco stores. If you would like to meet a specific cat, please contact us ahead of time and we will bring the cat to the weekend event.
