My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Budrow.
Aka Buddy, Bud or my shadow! He is a 60 lb. border collie / collie mix and a cuddle bear. Budrow is approximately 9 years young and happy. He was in a very bad place in life with no one really to care for him. Vanquished to the barn, picked on by other dogs, food not in a bowl and happily saved by a caring person. Brought to us after grooming and medically updated, all in one day. This boy was shy, tired and craving attention.

After a couple of weeks of love, his personality is coming to light. He is pretty low key. Would like to play with our male but not quite sure how to. Gets along fine with both my very alpha female Sis and our boy Eli. He wants people food but has never attempted to get in the flip lid trash even with food in it. Budrow walks on a leash beautifully. They said he chased cars but never has he even tried when out back and loose. That being said he’s not real fast. He would be a good dog for someone that would like a walking companion. Fine around 13 yr old girl but has not been seen with small kids or cats.

He is very loving and just looking for that home to call his own. He needs his forever family and surely deserves to have them.

Update… Buddy is doing fine and is now ready for his forever home. He is not very active and comes with all the quirks of an old boy. He sleeps really hard and sometimes can be surprised out of sleep. We have adjusted to his schedule for potty breaks. When we leave we just put him in our masterbath to protect him from our Sis, she can be a grouch, and in case of accidents. He never has had one while we have been gone. He really is house broke but does not go to the door like your typical dog. He may just stand up and look at you. Time to go out, he loves to just go out on the lead and just lay on the deck. If you have a fenced in yard, he would love it. We live in the country and he goes back to the creek everyday for a walk off leash with my husband and our 2 dogs.

He was taken up to our small town and walked along highway and other than looking at stuff never once pulled on leash. Then he was taken to the town hall to meet strangers and was declared super sweet and real gentleman

Budrow is being fostered in Indiana.
