My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Scooby - Scooby is 15 and lived outside at least the last 9 years we know of. Thankfully he was helped by Animal Control and came to Beagle Buddies. He needs a nice home where he can spend the rest of his life in comfort. He is a sweet boy, who just wants a warm spot and a little TLC. He is heart worm positive and is undergoing treatment currently. He has few teeth left and what he does have will most likely be extracted due to some serious problems so he will need wet food the rest of his life. He loves attention and adores curling up indoors as you can see in the photo at his foster home. He is getting the hang of house training and is not yet neutered. The vet wants to hold off neutering until later after heart worm treatment. He shows no interest in females though and as long any other dogs you may have are fixed it is not a problem.

If interested in adopting we require a home visit and an adoption agreement with a fee. Our adoption fees are $100 if over 5 years, $125 if younger than 5 years but older than 1 year, and $175 if younger than 1 year. All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, are up to date on vaccinations, and a copy of vet records is provided upon adoption to set up a file at your vet. We supply collar, temporary ID tag until you can use till you get one, and leash. All beagles are micro-chipped as well.
