Tidbit's Story...
location: Largo, FL
Psssstttttt…over here! Were you looking for me? I’ve been sitting here waiting to talk to someone about my qualifications. My name is Tidbit Ratbone and I presently reside in the Tampa Bay area of Florida with my foster family. I am 7 months old. I am loyal; get along very well with other dogs; like to walk (although I’m just learning to deal with the harness and leash combo); love to play with toys I get out of the doggie toy box by myself and I know I would make a great addition to your family. I am also crate trained and if you leave the door open I’ll go in by myself. I sleep there at night because it’s my safe place. I don’t go on furniture either. Did you notice my beautiful color? I’m chocolate and if I must say so myself, a beauty! I am a bit shy and it takes me a little while to get use to new people, but once I warm up I love to cuddle with them. Before my foster family I was living in a kennel and didn’t have much contact with humans, but my fostermom would hold me and hum to me and that made me feel loved, and she helped me to overcome my fears. I am still in the learning stages but I learn quickly. Please consider adopting me and making me part of your family “fur-ever”. Thanks for listening, I’ll be waiting to hear from you. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tidbit, a Jacksonville Rat Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Jacksonville, or seeking a Rat Terrier puppy from a breeder in Jacksonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jacksonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jacksonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jacksonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
