I'm Sully!  Rescued from a high kill shelter in San Bernardino. I am approximately 7 years old. I was born with undeveloped optic nerves, leaving me 100% blind.  But my blindness does not stop me from being a happy dog that truly loves and appreciates life!  I get around just fine like any other "seeing" dog and adapt very well to my surroundings.  My favorite things are cuddling, blankets, sun bathing in the yard, love walks, and play time.  With enough noise (squeaky ball) I can even play fetch!!  My favorite hobby is to suck on blankets all the time and especially love car rides.  I get so excited for a ride I jump in the car on my own and politely sit in the back or lay down.  I'm also crate trained, potty trained, doggie door trained, and know commands such as sit, stay, and lay down. I have recently gone through some professional training to work on socialization with people and other animals and some insecurities.  Due to my blindness, I need a little time to warm up, but with patience I can be an amazing companion!  My foster says I'm always entertaining, and just look at my unforgettable smile!  Are you ready for this big eared goofball? Here is a link to Sully's Facebook page so you can see what he has been up to in his foster home:

Aside from being blind, he is in good health, up-to-date on vaccinations, neutered, and micro-chipped.  Prefers a home with no cats or young children.

Sully is available for adoption through I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue in Orange County, CA.

Adoption application/home check/contract and adoption fee required. Adoption fee includes : Spay/neuter * shots up to date * rabies shots * micro-chip * fecal and vet check

About I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

I.C.A.R.E. is an all breed, no kill dog rescue. We rescue dogs at risk of being euthanized from shelters, abandoned, abused, and stray dogs. We also rescue many owner surrendered dogs; which are dogs that can no longer remain in their current homes due to financial or personal issues. I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue is dedicated to reducing the number of dogs that are euthanized in our shelters each and everyday. We focus on rescuing and rehabilitating them in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their permanent homes. We also focus on educating the public regarding specific breeds, rescue, and general information regarding the canine species. We are a 100% volunteer run and supported organization that cannot survive without the help of loving fosters, volunteers, and benefactors.
