I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Hi! I’m Anna Belle, a 3 year old Dachshund/Chihuahua mix weighing 10-12 lbs. Most of my fur is silky black, but I have pretty brindle-colored socks and white toes! My foster mom says my ears make her smile, because they don’t know whether to stand up or lay down! I was found as a stray and the people who found me couldn't keep me, so now I'm looking for a new forever home. I like children, but very small children would need to be gentle with me. I get along well with most other dogs and love to play, especially with soft squeaky toys. I was a little timid with a larger dog and my foster mom's cats when I first came to stay with her, but I’m completely comfortable with them now. Sometimes I even try to get the cats (and the larger dog) to play with me! I'll just need some time to adjust in my new home if there are other pets. I'm already crate trained and haven't had any accidents in the house. I especially love curling up in my foster mom's lap and watching TV or snuggling in bed under the covers! I am VERY affectionate and love giving sweet kisses, so I would make a good addition to a family who wants to be showered with my love forever!
My adoption donation is $125, which helps cover the cost of my spay, vaccinations, heart worm test and micro chip.
If you would like to be considered for my adoption, please e-mail my foster mom at firstname.lastname@example.org and request an application. ***Please DO NOT complete an online application, and NO phone calls please.
**If you would like to meet me, I will be at Petco in Indianapolis (7565 S. U.S. 31) on TBA. I'd LOVE to meet you!

Our adoption process begins with an application. This is a tool we use to make good home matches for our foster animals. Our standard adoption donation is $125 for adult toy breeds, and all breeds of puppies under 6 months old. Other adult dogs are $85 , unless they are a giant breed and the cost goes up per our cost for surgery. This includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and de-worming. Dogs over six months old are heartworm tested. Our standard adoption donation for cats is $40 and kittens under 6 months old $60.
