Angel's Story...
Why Choose me?
Angel is a handsome and well behaved dog. He’s also an owner surrender. His owner didn’t have enough time to spend with him, so Angel is looking for a new forever home. There’s a note on Angel’s information sheet stating, “I’m snuggly and love to play.” It’s true. This big boy is a snuggle bug When I sat on the bench, he wanted to join me. First, he put his paws in my lap, and then he was ready to climb on the bench to sit right next to me. While he was there, he gave me a few kisses. He loves attention! Angel is also wonderful on a leash. He never pulled and was so easy to walk. My husband walked him, too, and was totally impressed. Angel sits for a treat and will shake. He’s friendly and had no problems with other dogs walking by. Angel is fully vetted, microchipped, and neutered. If you’re looking for a big, friendly dog that wants to be with you, come meet Angel. My husband and I agree that Angel is awesome!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Angel, a Athens American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Athens, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Athens.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Athens already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Athens breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Athens paves the way for another one to be saved.
