Cousin Sue's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Cousin Sue's Story...
For five years I was happy in what I thought was my forever home. Then my world turned upside down and I ended up in a Phoenix domestic violence animal shelter. The good humans there contacted greyhound rescue groups and my group, Greyhounds of the Verde Valley, responded and rescued me again. My racing name was Cousin Sue, but I also answer to Lucy, and would love to answer to you! I'm good with cats and small dogs, am well behaved, and am a quiet, loving girl. I was born 8/30/05, will turn eight this August, and would love to celebrate that birthday with you, especially if you'd like an older greyt. And, here's an added benefit: Choose me and not only will you be getting a mature, easy-to-live-with girl, but also you'll get a discounted adoption fee because of my maturity! To find out more about me, please go to www.greyhoundsverdevalley.org. I'll be waiting.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cousin Sue, a Cottonwood Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Cottonwood, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in Cottonwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cottonwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cottonwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cottonwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
