Hi. My name is Honey! My parents adopted me and then realized they don’t have the time to give me that I need and that they want me to have. Well duh! they have a young two legged daughter and two six month old four legged daughters. Dad saw me and fell in love though. What can I say, I’m irresistible!
I have a sweet disposition and would love to curl up and sleep with or on you I’m good with my seven year old two legged sister and I LOVE playing with the their four legged daughters. Even though I only weigh 12 pounds, I think I’m bigger than all other dogs! I’m house trained, well mostly. I’ve only had a couple of accidents since I came to live with my adoptive parents a month ago. I’m also crate trained and will sit, lie down and usually "leave it" when you tell me to. I don’t like to come. I think my owners in a previous lifetime must have rewarded my coming by putting me in a crate or something bad so you will have to teach me that coming is a good thing. Mom’s working on it now. If you leave me in your back yard, I may (probably will) eat a few limbs and maybe dig a little. I’m an angel in the house though and not destructive at all.
I’m hoping to find FOREVER parents who have time to spend with and train me and I’ll reward them with lots of love and kisses every day! I am full of energy but enjoy cuddling too! Oh yea, mom and dad took me to the vet and he said he thinks I have Italian Greyhound or Whippet in me. I’ve been spayed and micro-chipped and have had a set of boosters. I’ll be due for another round soon. I also had my heartworm and flea preventative on the 28th so I won’t need that for another month.
Honey is about nine moths old, 12 pounds and Updated on shots, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested. The adoption fee is $125.
