I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.
Lyle “Loveit” is a sweet gentle man. He has a lot of spunk and endurance for his age! (How old am I? Who knows!?) He loves walks and gets along well with everyone at the dog park. His foster brother and sister love him as well. He is never intrusive, and will give his turn at water dish to the lady first! He is a great companion dog, will follow you everywhere and rides nice in the car for trips. He is looking for that perfect person or family just to love him.
DOGS: Does well with others as long as they don’t threaten him....boxers will defend themselves.
CATS: Doesn't like kitties!
KIDS: Gentle and loving with them - he is the first to greet you at all our events
HOUSETRAINED: Fully house trained and uses the doggy door
OBEDIENCE TRAINING: He is well behaved and crushed when his brother gets into trouble! We are working on sit for a treat, but he knows stay and NO, he takes treats gently
CRATE SKILLS: He will go in the crate, but foster mom does not need to crate him…he will sleep on his bed all day
LEASH SKILLS: Great on a leash and loves walks
DROOL FACTOR: Just the site of a treat or food will make him drool!
PERKS & QUIRKS: Lyle does not like big crowds of dogs and people and will go off alone or just with his foster mom at the dog park, He is partial to the female 4 legged gals!
HEALTH STATUS: I have tested NEGATIVE for heartworm, ehrlichiosis, lyme disease and anaplasmosis. I am healthy and ready to go! Although I am spry for a 'senior', I can benefit from arthritis supplements to keep me mobile and pain free.
ENERGY LEVEL: Moderate for short periods, low after a work out.

We are a private, volunteer, non-profit 501(c)3 organization. We are dedicated to the rescue of unwanted, neglected, and abandoned pets. We specialize in boxers, but for the perfect home we can help you find the perfect pet, or point you to a rescue who can. We provide food, shelter, medical attention, and TLC during our rescues wait for the "RIGHT" forever home.
All of our dogs are in foster homes throughout the valley - we do not have a shelter that you can visit. Once you submit an application, your references are checked and the home visit is complete, we will contact you to set up a satisfactory meeting place for a get-together with your potential adoptive pet.
Our dogs are cared for in foster homes during this wait. We try to have them in a foster home environment for at least 2 weeks. They are temperament tested to the best of our ability to ensure a perfect match into their new home. Our number one concern is for the safety of the adoptive family and the happiness of the pet. We strive for a FOREVER placement - not all dogs are perfect for all families. We don't want to place "A" dog in your home - we want to place "THE" dog for your family!
We can't save every dog but we can make a difference...one dog at a time!
We are desperately seeking foster homes for our wonderful dogs! We also accept used crates or donations of any kind!
Please contact us about a specific pet - we do not have a shelter facility. All pets are in foster homes around the state of Arizona.
We prefer e-mail to cut down on cell phone minute usage! Once an application is submitted, it is reviewed, references are checked, and a home visit is done. If approved, we will contact you about the dog you are interested in. We want to place these dogs with the "RIGHT" families so it may take a bit to find that dog for you, please be patient.
We adopt within the state of Arizona or surrounding areas where there is no active boxer rescue.
