MEET FILMORE.....an absolutely fantastic dog. His coloring is amazing -- mostly black, with tan and a touch of white; his energy at 1.5-2 yrs abounding; and this Lhasa X is just a wonderful, happy, playful, energized bunny! Filmore's favorite thing to do is play catch with you and he actually brings the toy back and drops it!! He bonds quickly to his person and loves to rough-house. He'd be fine with older kids but we think he'd be a little much for the little ones. Filmore loves to go for long walks and hasn't yet met a tree he didn't like! He always wants to please and looks to you for approval, he is very smart and will be easy to train. Filmore is a dog who will need to be exercised and would not do well in an apartment. He doesn't bark unless he wants something, but he needs room to romp and play. We think he would be best as an only dog, as he would love to go everywhere with you. He really is a manly man's dog for those of you guys who don't want a "fluffy" -- but he will need training to know who the boss is with other dogs, as he can sometimes be a little "pushy." His potty training is pretty good, and should be even better with outside access. He does get attached to his person and needs to know to "let go" -- as we believe he feels he will be abandoned again. So have time for him and make sure some of that time is reserved for training! This is a wonderful dog and I swear I would keep him if I could. So someone wonderful...please come and meet and take Filmore home with you....it will be the best decision you ever made!

Most Sundays, unless we are doing a special event, we are at My Pet Naturally (12001 W. Pico Blvd., West LA 90064) from 11a-3:30pm. You can see this, and many more, adorable pups at this weekly event! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!!!
