Mitzi's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, and up to date with shots.

Mitzi's Story...
Mitzi is one of the most gentle and loving dogs you’ll ever meet. She is a 5 year old collie mix who was found abandon with her seven puppies on a country road. She now has all her current shots and has been spayed. Mitzi is great with other dogs, cats, and children. She appears to have been housetrained and even crate trained in her prior life. She rarely barks and minds commands very well. She is mostly interested in cuddling with her foster family, going for walks in the country and checking your pockets for treats. This dog is so bright; yet so sweet…she will be perfect for almost any home. A family with children will find her playful yet gentle and submissive with kids and other pets. An older adult family will find that she is highly attentive, quick to learn new routines, and extremely loving as a companion animal. If our home were not so filled with other pets this girl would NOT be up for adoption. We’d take her in an instant…she’s that good!!

Email for an application to adopt Mitzi. Adoption fee is $75.00 with approved application to adopt

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mitzi, a Neosho Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Neosho, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Neosho.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Neosho already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Neosho breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Neosho paves the way for another one to be saved.
