Mitzi is one of the most gentle and loving dogs you’ll ever meet. She is a 5 year old collie mix who was found abandon with her seven puppies on a country road. She now has all her current shots and has been spayed. Mitzi is great with other dogs, cats, and children. She appears to have been housetrained and even crate trained in her prior life. She rarely barks and minds commands very well. She is mostly interested in cuddling with her foster family, going for walks in the country and checking your pockets for treats. This dog is so bright; yet so sweet…she will be perfect for almost any home. A family with children will find her playful yet gentle and submissive with kids and other pets. An older adult family will find that she is highly attentive, quick to learn new routines, and extremely loving as a companion animal. If our home were not so filled with other pets this girl would NOT be up for adoption. We’d take her in an instant…she’s that good!!
Email ffaaneosho@yahoo.com for an application to adopt Mitzi. Adoption fee is $75.00 with approved application to adopt
Rescue Group Info...
Faithful Friends Animal Advocates, Inc is a non-profit organization commited to helping our community become a place where animals are treated with kindness and respect. Further, we want to be a voice for the welfare of animals in our community through various avenues. Our goal is to build an adoption center for the Neosho, MO community in order to benefit the abused, abandoned and neglected domestic animals in our community.
People
The organization is comprised of volunteers who meet nearly weekly to organize events in order that we may serve the community successfully. There are many different opportunities to volunteer and donate time or financial gifts. If you are at all interested or know someone who would like to support our efforts, please contact us.
We typically host adoption events on the first Saturday of every month. All other opportunities to meet our pets are done by appointment only.
If you are interested in one of our adoptable pets; first you must fill out an adoption application. Upon review, FFAA members will screen your application, a meet and greet for you and the pet will be set up. If there are no reservations on either party, the adoption contract will need to be filled out and signed. There is an adoption fee for all animals to help cover veterinary care prior to placement.
We are out of Neosho, MO in southwest Missouri. We strive to help those in need in Newton and McDonald Counties. We do not currently have a facility for holding animals, so we rely on volunteer foster homes.
