I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Sugar (16.5#) is a 5 yr old spayed female with typical Pekingese temperament, perfect for a retiree. She is a wonderful house dog, no accidents, can be very sweet, however she might growl and potentially bite if picked up wrong or while being groomed. I recommend she be groomed by a vet so she can be sedated. I cut out little mats as they come vs. combing. Fine with most dogs, may chase a cat (but currently lives with cats), I would use caution around kids. She tends to guard her territory, the kitchen, by running to the door and barking. For an experienced Peke owner, she is not alot of trouble. Heartworm tested, shots current. 14 day money back satisfaction return policy, free vet exam coupon. Her adoption fee is $125 Application required, fence required. ADOPT-A-KITTY.ORG

Rescue Group Info...
Adopt-a-Kitty is an all species/breed caregiver to lost, homeless, and unwanted pets that are in need, locally and in nearby surrounding areas, concentrating mainly on cats and kittens. We accept “special needs” pets as well, when in need. In the last 5 years, we have placed hundreds of animals, a good portion pulled from high kill shelters. Our mission in life is to love, care for, and PLACE animals who haven't been given a chance. All pets are tested, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, etc. prior to adoption. We provide a safe place for our rescued pets to stay until a forever family can be found. Because we are a grassroots organization, we rely on help from the public, adoption donations, and money from our own pockets.

You may contact us via email or by text/phone. We have flexible hours, by appointment only. Nights and weekends are doable!
The first step in our adoption process is the completion of our adoption application, and we do not charge an application fee. We charge an appropriate adoption fee to cover most of the costs associated with vetting each animal. We have a 2 page contract to be signed at time of adoption, and we offer a 14 to 30 day money back return policy, dependent upon age of the animal.
