Mimi's Story...
What can we say about Ms. Mimi..........she is a talker and she is a cat character...........she loves nothing more than to run and play and talk as she runs.......likes to be up high and sit in the window....It is the most beautiful sight to see......As Ms. Mimi and 35 other cats were left to fend for themselves in a closed up house, without food and water......until a neighbor broke a window open so the cats could get out and started feeding them. The good thing is that all of these cats have been put into foster homes and placed with people who care. Underweight and not knowing where her next meal was coming from, she is now waiting for the right family to come along and give her the love she so richly deserves..Ms. Mimi is currently up for adoption at the Springhill Vet in Carpentersville, IL....847 426 0550 will get you in touch with the caring staff who take care of her each and everyday until she can go home..........Is the little girl you have been looking for?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mimi, a West Dundee Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in West Dundee, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in West Dundee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Dundee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Dundee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Dundee paves the way for another one to be saved.
