Little Girl's Story...
What a pretty little girl! And that;s exactly what they call her. Born in the wild, this sweet little British Shorthair mix is what some would say is feral, but you wouldn't know it as she is gentle and loving and so affectionate, rubbing up against you for petting and attention.

Little Girl is about four months old now and was just spayed and vaccinated. She'll be tested for FIV and FeLV, wormed, treated for fleas and ear mites and then be ready for her new home. Her foster mom says she is doing magnificently and if she didn't have any other animals, this one would be a keeper!

Would you like to adopt Little Girl? Our rules are simple: she has to be an indoor cat, you can't smoke inside with her, and there is no declawing.

Her adoption fee is $80 which covers her sterilization, vaccinations, testing, treatments and microchipping. Text me at 940.482.0025 if you would like to make an appointment to meet Little Girl.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Little Girl, a Arlington British Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a British Shorthair for sale in Arlington, or seeking a British Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even British Shorthair breeders who help with British Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
