MEET ROSCOE!!
Roscoe is a HAPPY, PLAYFUL 2 year old Boxer mix. This pup absolutely adores people and is wonderful with kids! He already gets along great with other dogs and would love to have another playful buddy~ He has not yet been tested with cats.
Roscoe already knows how to walk on a leash (with a Gentle Leader) and is starting to learn basic obedience commands. He is a very happy dog, his hind legs often leaving the ground as he furiously wags his tail. He prefers to follow you around from room to room, only stopping to lay down when you sit down yourself. The memo about a weight limit for lap dogs was conveniently overlooked by Roscoe, as he and his 55lb backside enjoy plopping down in your lap as soon as you sit down.
He is not food aggressive, and shows zero aggression when you remove food that he is not finished with. Roscoe adores children and is a very sweet and trustworthy dog. He currently is being fostered with an autistic 5 year-old and a not-so-gentle 2 year-old. Nothing they have done has phased him, and he has been a very good sport about all of the chaos.

Underdog Rescue of Az is an all volunteer organization dedicated to the rescuing and re-homing of abandoned and/or abused dogs.
We are a foster-based rescue, and do not maintain a physical base of operations. All of our animals are placed with loving, caring safe foster families until they are adopted. We are also an "All Breed" rescue, and do not discriminate based on breed, age, size, etc.
Underdog's mission also includes educating the public on the issue of animal welfare. We strive to promote shelter reform, spay and neuter education and emergency rescue information & assistance.
We attend multiple adoption events throughout the valley during Spring and Fall.
If you are interested in a specific pet, please complete our adoption application found on our website and we can then coordinate a meet and greet.
All potential adopters will be required to complete our Adoption Application, read and sign our Adopting Policies and Procedures, and participate in a home visit by one of our adoption representatives. Our Adoption Application is located on our website.
Underdog's Adoption Fees are as follows:
Dogs: Puppy - 8 yrs: $150.00
Seniors (8+ years): $100.00
Pairs: $200 total
