Daytona's Story...
Daytona is a Collie mix about one year old who was brought to a rescue organization in south Virginia when he was about 3 months old and has been living with them ever since. He is a fun dog, very outgoing and handsome and just a super terrific dog. He is very socialized and loves people and other dogs. Daytona would LOVE to be a part of a family, and DESERVES to be part of a family. He will surely be a loyal friend and companion. Will you be the family to make Daytona the luckiest dog? Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daytona, a Richmond Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Collie dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie breeders who help with Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
