Mitzi and Pepper's Story...
Mitzy & Pepper's owner recently died and they are so lonely. Mitzy and Pepper are Spaniel mixes and they are mother and daughter, ages 12 and 10 years old. They really need to find another home as soon as possible. It would be nice if they could find a home together, but that might be difficult, so we are also taking applications for them together or separately. The most important thing is for them to find loving homes. They are house-trained. Please complete an application at www.henricohumane.org if you are interested in these sweet and friendly girls.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mitzi and Pepper, a Richmond Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
