Scooby's Story...
Scooby here is 2 yrs in age and full of SMILES as you can see in his pictures! He is a lab/shepherd mix that would love to find a home and family to call his very own. He is so special that he has 2 names.. some call him Squash and some call him Scooby – and he is so intelligent that can knows both of them! Scooby is HOUSEBROKEN and accustomed to being crate when left alone during the work day. We have learned that Scooby likes cats way too much – so a home w/out cats is best. He does play with other dogs that enjoy a dog that likes to romp around and have a good ole time! Scooby would be excellent for someone who likes to hike, run/jog and all those funs sorts of activities (he is really smart and would do well with anyone who wants to do further training or even agility!). He enjoys the water as you can see from one of his pictures. If you are interested in learning more and meeting Scooby – please email foredogs@comcast.net – to setup a time to meet this handsome fellow!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scooby, a Richmond Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
