Meet Mama Mary. Mary came from a local shelter just a week before she gave birth to her six little ones. Mary was beyond thrilled when we told her she would NEVER have to give birth again. The gray on her face might mislead you to think she is older than she is. Mary is only about 4-5 years old and full of spunk – just check out her video. This little girl is quirky, in the cutest ways. Mary is totally housebroken. She absolutely LOVES to eat, we mean LOVES to eat. Riding in cars is something she truly enjoys, as well as just getting to be outside and soak up some rays. Mary has great recall with her foster mom and while she will need time to bond to her new owner, we suspect this great skill will transfer easily. She adores being loved on and will sit for as long as you will spend time petting her. But she also does great just hanging around the house by herself. She gets along great with her foster brother and sisters – which include dogs and cats. Mary has just finished nursing her pups and will be fixed prior to adoption. She will also be fully vaccinated and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $200 and she is being fostered in Huntsville, AL. For an application, please email us at info@FORrescue.net today – Mary cannot wait to meet you.
Rescue Group Info...
Friends of Rescue is a certified 501(c)(3) organization consisting of volunteers who are devoted to saving shelter dogs that are in danger of euthanasia. Rural Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee shelters have a constant overflow of dogs, little funding, and limited space. Once the dogs arrive at the shelter, they have very little time. It is our goal to help save these adoptable dogs and adopt them out to loving families. Although our priorities are the retriever breeds, we are not limiting ourselves to retrievers because we know that there are many great dogs that need our help. We are NOT professional trainers or animal behaviorists; simply volunteers who are trying to save these dogs from euthanasia.
We have many wonderful dogs and cats looking for FORever Homes!
Our adoption fee covers their complete age-appropriate vetting, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm/flea prevention, and full medical records.
Please email us at info@FORrescue.net for an application to begin the adoption process.
