My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi People!
My name is Jennie -- and I’m an affectionate and sometimes shy Bichon girl of a certain age, (soon to be eight years young, that is.) Mom says I’m loving, quiet, gentle, calm and very mellow.
Dad says that I have all the charms of a Bichon, while also being very easy to be around. (He says that many bichons are more demanding than I am – and that I, on the other hand, am amazingly sweet, appreciative and housebroken (and that’s not a typo!)
I love all the things that Bichons do – like rides in the car (open the door and I’ll go with you anywhere!), treats, cuddles, and especially naps. And, in return for all those good things, I am the most loving and trusting companion.
Mom says I’m naturally sweet natured, friendly and happy – and grateful for love and attention. I also am patient! When I try to get my doggy foster brothers to play, they often ignore me. So I wait patiently, then come back and try again. I know someday they are going to succumb to my wiles, In the meantime I try – then go off and chew on my bones or chew toys. (I would really love a furkid who would play with me at least once in a while! Come on foster brothers!)
Mom says I am a ‘bit’ of a couch potato who is not into strenuous activity like long walks. I am perfectly happy just going to the yard, doing what I need to do, and coming happily into the house. I’m happy to be wherever you are and appreciative of everything I have.
Mom and Dad hope that you will appreciate my qualities as much as they do, as I so deserve to be a very special companion to a very special person. If that sounds like you please ask for me ‘cause I’ll be waiting.
Kisses and cuddles,
Joyous Jennie
