I am already spayed, a special needs pet, and up to date with shots.
Sugarloaf is a 10 year old spayed female Jack Russell Terrier who came to the shelter as a stray. Sugarloaf is a special needs girl looking for the right home to care for her during her senior years. Sugarloaf is a real sweetheart, but she will need a home where someone is home most of the time as she does have separation anxiety, and loves to have someone close by. She is blind in her left eye with limited vision in her right. She needs more potty breaks outside then a younger dog, but will love you for the extra effort you put into taking care of her. Sugarloaf seems to do well with other dogs and even with cats. Come check out this cute little girl and spend some time with her. Sugarloaf recently had dental treatment so is good to go on that. UPDATE: Sugarloaf is currently at a vet clinic and will be back at the shelter for Saturday's adoption shift.
If you want to apply for Sugarloaf click here. You can then email the application to the Meridian Humane Society.Applications are now being accepted, and a visitation with the dog is encouraged. All applications will be considered and the adoption coordinator will call the person chosen to adopt the dog after the available date.
