Shelby is a young female yellow Lab and Pit mix. She has a good disposition, is house trained, and weighs about 45 lbs. She will be spayed prior to adoption. Shelby needs an indoor home with a fenced yard.

Animal Rescue Shelter of Lawrence County, Alabama was founded by animal friendly individuals to offer an alternative to the high-kill County Shelter. We are a pro-life facility. Our goal is to build a new , state of the art facility to serve the animals and citizens of Lawrence County. We plan on including a low-cost spay/neuter facility to reduce the over-population in Lawrence County and surrounding areas.

An adoption contract is required prior to adoption. Our basic adoption fee is $70 to help cover the cost of spay/neuter and rabies shots. All animals are current on all age appropriate shots and are spayed or neutered prior to adoption.
