Spanky's Info...
| Breed: | Domestic Shorthair | Color: | Brown Tabby | Age: | Young |
| Sex: | Male | Hair: | Short |
I am already neutered, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.
This fine-looking brown tabby is Spanky. He is also affectionately known as Frenches, one of his many nicknames, which he responds to as well. He is a medium size cat, weighing about 13 lbs. He has lovely green eyes, a small white patch on his chest, and a white snout/muzzle.
Spanky is shy at first with new people, but warms up reasonably quickly to adults, especially if you have cat treats. He has an affectionate side and enjoys a good cuddle, but on his own terms. He will kindly let you know when he has had enough with gentle little love bites. Still very much a kitten at heart, Spanky is a ball of energy and enjoys chasing laser lights, feather teasers, and any other toy he can find.
Like all cats, Spanky needs to scratch to keep his claws healthy. He is a big scratcher and needs to have a nice scratching post available – the bigger the better. This boy loves his scratching posts! He eats very well and has excellent litter box habits. He is also a guy that likes to have conversations with you, though he prefers to do most of the talking.
We think Spanky will do best in an adult home with no kids. He is a bit of an alpha male, the dominant type, so introducing him to other cats might not be the best idea. He also loves to drink from running water, so a cat water fountain is highly recommended.
Spanky is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. He is ready for immediate adoption.
