Any help you can offer to help find these two furry kids a home is greatly appreciated.

From Bruno: "Can somebody tell us what the word retirement means? My friend, Annie, and I always thought it must mean something good, Boy, were we wrong! Our humans that we'd lived with for all of our 7 years, told us they were going to retire and travel . They also told us we weren't going along. Next thing we knew, we were being dumped at a high-kill shelter, and off the retirees went. So much for loyalty and our forever home.

I've gotta tell you, in all modesty, that I'm one of the best looking German Shepherds in Texas. When the shelter folks saw me they made a special effort to send our pictures out to rescues all over. Guess what, it worked! The pack leader of a no-kill rescue saw our pictures and read our story. She took both Annie and me to a place called Happy Endings Dog Rescue in Waco, Texas.

Annie is what they call a mixed breed, a little of this and a little of that. She is almost as big as me and I think she's the most beautiful hunk of dog fur in the world! We've been together all of our lives and the plan is to stay that way - together forever!

Our next humans will have to have huge hearts and be ready to love and care for us for the rest of our lives. Our next humans will be amazed by their good fortune and totally wowed by the amount of sheer dog joy we will bring into their lives!"

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Annie, a Dripping Springs Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Dripping Springs, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Dripping Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dripping Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dripping Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dripping Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
