Olivia's Story...
Miss Olivia is a lucky girl - she was brought into a vet clinic in Louisiana instead of being dumped at the shelter. She gave birth to 7 gorgeous pups there whom we are also helping find foster and/or adoptive homes for! Olivia is a 2-3 year old mixed breed pup. She is full grown at 25 lbs and is a total delight to be around. Olivia is the kind of pup who could light up any room.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Olivia, a Richmond Australian Shepherd/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
