Snap's Story...
The Rice Krispies gang is here. This is Snap, Crackle, and Pop. They were found living in the woods. They are extremely friendly and love people. They are still a little bit scared around other dogs but are warming up quickly. We are not sure how they are with cats. Since they are strays and we have not seen them around children we can not say how they are with them. The 2 black ones are Snap and Crackle, both boys and they are about 8 months old. The brown one is their mother Pop. She is around 2 years old. The 2 boys have never been on a leash until they arrived at the shelter. They were very scared of it at first but are getting used to it. We think they may be a chow border collie mix, maybe some shepherd in there. They would love to find a new home where they don't have to live in the cold and worry about where their next meal comes from. Their shots have been updated but they still need to be spayed/neutered. The fee for the males is $150 and the female is $165.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snap, a New Manchester Border Collie/Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Chow Chow for sale in New Manchester, or seeking a Border Collie/Chow Chow dog from a breeder in New Manchester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Manchester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Manchester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Chow Chow breeders who help with Border Collie/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Manchester paves the way for another one to be saved.
