Diddy's Story...
Sometimes I'm called "big Diddy" or "little marshmallow" because I have a few extra pounds on me. But I'm on a diet and in training! I love to chase toys up and down the hall in my foster home! Soon I'll be healthy and fit Diddy!

My foster mommy says I'm one of the biggest lovebugs she's ever known. All I know is that I like being around people and getting attention while showing them how much I love them too.

I was left at a local vet and they wanted to give me a chance with a new family so they called Texas CARES! I'm a big laid back boy who would probably do well in most any situation. As you can see in my picture, I get along great with kittens. I'd be a great addition if you have a little wild one at home-I'll tame him or at least give him a playmate! I'm very loveable and very cool like any cat named Diddy should be!

I'm making my best "won't you adopt me?" face in the picture. Is it working? :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Diddy, a Dallas Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
