Camo is a super mellow, calm and gentle 3-year old male German Shepherd/Yellow Lab mix. He's got a handsome blonde coat, and a chocolate saddle along his back with silver tips. He's potty trained (zero accidents), very well-behaved in the house, and likes to romp and play with other dogs outside or just bask in the sunshine. Camo loves the dog park and loves the water, and played well at a dog park with nearly 50 large and medium dogs of every temperament. He is very gentle when playing with our other 14 week old foster puppy. Camo is very respectful and polite, and does not get on furniture or jump up on people... he even calmly waits for permission to come inside. He is very soft-mouthed with treats and food, loves children and people and greets them calmly. He walks great on a leash, is a perfect jogging partner and rides calmly in the car. Camo enjoys being brushed and was obedience trained as a puppy, and enjoys his rope toys, tennis balls and bones. He is neutered, heartworm negative, on HeartGard and flea/tick preventatives, and is up-to-date on his shots. He does not need to be kenneled in the house when left alone. Has not been tested with cats yet but I'm sure he would be fine with them -- we can test him around them if needed. He's been very gentle in every situation we've put him in so far. He would LOVE to be a part of your family and he's ready to join you! Email ArkanPaws@yahoo.com for more information or fill out an adoption application at www.ArkanPaws.org

Our goal is to educate the public on spaying/neutering their pets, as well as to advocate/provide safe temporary homes for displaced, neglected, or abused animals. We rehabilitate, vet, and place in permanent homes, as well as offering transport to the New England area.
We have many events in the Central Arkansas area! And if you are not in the Central Arkansas area, we are more than happy to send you videos and flood you with photos of your pup. :) We operate in New England as well, and typically are there for 4-5 days out of the month. Also, please speak to the foster parent to find out anything you'd like to know. We are more than happy to connect you!
