Owen is an adorable low-rider dog. What you can't see from his handsome photos and video is that he has super soft fur. He's like a giant cotton ball! He's a bit of a goofball as you can see on his video with his "waving" trick! He's also a pretty low maintenance guy. He enjoys going on walks, meeting new people, gets along great with other dogs and in general can hang out with you at the local cafe for hours without causing a fuzz - save drawing folks over that want to interact with him.
Owen is a happy-go-lucky boy! Nothing seems to bother him. He always seems to have a smile on his cute fluffy face. His tag is contantly in motion too. Everything about him says "I'm a happy boy!"
Owen would do well in a variety of homes. He will need daily walks which he thoroughly enjoys. Another canine friend would be fine but not necessary. His fluffy fur will need to be groomed from time to time. Of course our happy guy will need lots of love and snuggle time with his favorite human(s).

RESCUE is a registered non-profit volunteer based animal rescue organization located in Maricopa County. RESCUE has no central facility and is volunteer run. Our focus is on the "kill lists." We were founded in 1995, and with the support of our volunteers and our community, we have found homes for over 9,000 dogs and cats. Our motto is for every animal adopted, we are back to rescue another. We depend on the community for our support and offer a variety of satisfying ways for you to get involved in our mission to end the killing of the orphaned dogs and cats. Please consider adopting, volunteering or donating.
We do not have a shelter. We are at various special events around the valley. Please see our Upcoming Events section on our website for further information. We look forward to meeting you and introducing you to some of our wonderful animals.
Fill out an online application, have an interview with a Matchmaker, if we are in philosophical alignment, set up a meet and greet and if all goes well finalize the adoption. Our service fee for dogs is $150 and $125 for cats. All our dogs and cats are spayed and neutered prior to adoption.
