Pebbles's Story...
Pip is a lovable but shy boy looking for his forever home. He was surrendered to the shelter with his sister Pebbles because their previous owners were moving and could not take them along. Pip loves his sister but she can be a little bossy towards him. It is not required that they be adopted together. Pip would do best in a home with no children or other animals. He does not like being picked up and gets nervous around loud noises. Pip is very affectionate and likes to be close to his people. His mate Pebbles would do best in a quiet home as loud noises and lots of activity can make her nervous. Pebbles is a very affectionate cat but also has an independent side. Pebbles would love someone who will let her sit in their lap whenever she likes!A quiet home where they can feel safe would be the best match for Pip and Pebbles. Please fill out an adoption application to meet Pip and Pebbles to see if they would be a good match for your home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pebbles, a Bellingham Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
