RUSTY's Story...
Rusty, is an orange sweetheart whose owner passed away and before he and his sister Midnight could be removed by Animal Care and Control a neighbor stepped in and rescued them. This good samaritan is desperately trying to find them a home. Rusty is blind in one eye but makes quite good use of the one he has! His one good eye keeps track of where you are and loves to be next to you and his sister Midnight. In the morning he will wake up with you and will purr happily as you snuggle him while you read the paper and have coffee. He is a happy guy whose gentleness and affectionate personality will win you over. He would love to go to a home with his sister or to a home with another cat but he will also be happy just to have a loving home. He is about 6 years old and we will pay for the costs of his veterinary exam and vaccinations before he goes to a new home.

About Our Rescue Group...
Infinite Hope is an all-volunteer IRS-approved 501(c)(3) not-for-profit animal rescue. Since its inception in early 2004, Infinite Hope has placed over 1,000 animals in permanent and loving homes. Because we are an all volunteer organization 100% of our funds goes towards the housing, care and placement of our animals.

Our Board and volunteers donate their time and resources toward the cause of caring for and finding homes for abandoned animals, eliminating the problem of stray, unaltered animals in New York City, and caring for special needs animals until a permanent or foster home can be found.

While in our care, all of our animals receive high-quality food, shelter, positive interaction with our volunteers and all necessary medical care, including a complete vet exam, spaying and neutering, (if 5 months of age or older) and testing for communicable feline diseases (FIV and FeLV).

We are fortunate to have a small adoption center at Hope Veterinary Clinic at 390 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn. In addition we have a foster network so that our animals can receive care and attention until we have placed them with a loving and permanent home.

All adopters are carefully screened. Volunteers spend time with potential adopters and available animals, to ensure a good match for all. We are committed to a 100% “no-kill” philosophy and will not accept animals beyond our capacity to care for them.

Come Meet Our Pets...
Play dates with our animals are by appointment only. This may either be at a vet clinic or foster home depending on where the animal currently resides. If you are interested in adopting any of our animals please send us an email at: infinitehope@infinitehoperescue.org
Our Adoption Process...
Potential adopters are required to complete our adoption application; once an application has been approved, the adopter must sign our adoption agreement. If adopting a kitten or puppy under 5-6 months of age, the adopter must agree to spay or neuter once the pet is old enough for the procedure.

Additionally, we require a minimum donation of $150 per cat and $200 per dog. This amount represents just a small fraction of the actual costs we incur for each animal under our care, and helps us to continue our ongoing efforts.
