Roscoe was rescued from the animal shelter as his days lingered down. He was getting very depressed that no one wanted to adopt him and take him home to love!
Now that Roscoe is in foster care….he is happy, happy, happy!
Roscoe loves to play, loves toys, and follows his foster mom everywhere she goes. She says he is a very lovable boy with years of companionship to give a lucky new owner. He gets along well with other dogs, but he would also get along well as the only dog in the house so he can get ALL of the attention!
Roscoe is very friendly. He walks great on a leash and loves to walk. He is athletic, tough and strong. He is reliably housebroken. Roscoe is about 6 years old. He likes the beach and is not afraid of the water. He watches the house but is not a big barker. He is good with cats. He does very well with larger dogs.
Roscoe is a Brussels Griffon blend with a touch of French Bulldog and Pug mixed in. He has the gentleness, bully smile, and comic attitude that make each one of these breeds desirable all mixed into one!
Roscoe is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, parasite free, and micro chipped. He is being fostered in La Jolla, CA. He weighs 20 lbs.
Roscoe is looking for a forever person or family that isn't gone from home for long hours. He would like a person who wants a walking buddy, as he enjoys this outside activity so much.
We prefer to place Roscoe within driving distance of where he is being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to drive or fly in, and he must fly home in the cabin with his new family. Under no circumstances can our dogs ever be shipped in cargo. We do not place our dogs in homes with invisible (electric) fencing or young children.
