Mack's Story...
Meet the sweetest M&Ms ever, Mack and Madden! These darling boys came into FOWA’s care with mommy Myla from a hoarding situation in Newark. They were born premature on January 25 and weighed an extremely tiny 2 ounces when they arrived in foster care at one day old. Mack and Madden truly are small miracles surviving from such a fragile beginning, but they have beaten the odds and are tough little fighters! Myla has been an excellent mom nursing and supervising her kittens, and with supplemental feeding, monitoring weight gain and lots of love they are growing strong and healthy. M&M are now 5 weeks old and have reached the big milestone weighing in at one pound each!
Mack and Madden are growing more agile, adventurous and playful each day and will soon be busy little kittens ready to go out and explore. As with all preemies their vision, hearing and coordination are still developing as they grow. They will continue to nurse until they’re old enough to be weaned and should be ready to go home around the age of 10 weeks. Mack and Madden are very bonded brothers and will only be adopted together as a pair. If you are interested in adding an adorable set of tabby boys to your home and ready for the commitment of love raising two active kittens, please complete the FOWA Adoption Application and mention Mack and Madden.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mack, a Wayne Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Wayne, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Wayne.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wayne already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wayne breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wayne paves the way for another one to be saved.
