Meet CODY!!
Cody is an adorable 1 yr old Lab mix. He has a gorgeous coat and is about the sweetest, snuggliest pup you will ever meet! This boy is eager to please and adores his people. He loves to be close and snuggle with anyone who will give him love.
Cody is incredibly smart and has already learned basic obedience---he already knows sit, stay and shake! He also comes when he is called.
Cody does enjoy other dogs, and can spend an hour rolling around with his foster brothers. He enjoys trips to the dog park and has a ball while there! We would love for him to be adopted into a home with another friendly pup to keep him company.
Cody also ADORES kids, so he would be a great pup for a family with children. He also has done great with the 6 cats in his foster home, but he will chase if they are runners.
Cody very much enjoys just sitting next to his 'people,' relaxing and lounging. But he will also enjoy a romp with another friendly dog. He is quite the couch buddy and would love to snuggle with you if you let him.
Cody can be shy when he first meets new people, but warms up quickly; He is a bit fearful of men, so he will take a little time to warm up to them. He does walk well on a leash and is an awesome car rider!! Cody is already crate trained and housebroken, and is a WHIZ at using the doggy door.
Cody is already up to date on vaccinations and is neutered. Please note, Cody is MUCH smaller than his pics make him appear. He only weighs approx. 35 lbs.

Underdog Rescue of Az is an all volunteer organization dedicated to the rescuing and re-homing of abandoned and/or abused dogs.
We are a foster-based rescue, and do not maintain a physical base of operations. All of our animals are placed with loving, caring safe foster families until they are adopted. We are also an "All Breed" rescue, and do not discriminate based on breed, age, size, etc.
Underdog's mission also includes educating the public on the issue of animal welfare. We strive to promote shelter reform, spay and neuter education and emergency rescue information & assistance.
We attend multiple adoption events throughout the valley during Spring and Fall.
All potential adopters will be required to complete our Adoption Application, read and sign our Adopting Policies and Procedures, and participate in a home visit by one of our adoption representatives.
Underdog's Adoption Fees are as follows:
Dogs: Puppy - 8 yrs: $150.00
Seniors (8+ years): $125.00
