Samantha's Story...
Sweet Samantha spent her life tied up outside and alone... Soon she found out how to escape and she always ran to the same place, to visit the children at the local school. There she would receive hugs and kisses and finally knew love. Sadly the parents were not as thrilled as the children were, and after Samantha kept getting out to visit her new friends her owners dumped her at a shelter. Poor Samantha didn't know what was happening or how her life changed for the better. The shelter loved her. She is sweet and well behaved. So they did all they could to get her into a rescue. FOWA was happy to help. Samantha is now with one of FOWA's trainers getting along with all the other dogs in the house and loving all the attention. If you are looking for an easy going sweet dog come say hi to Samantha. Applications can be found on our website

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Samantha, a Wayne German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Wayne, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Wayne.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wayne already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wayne breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wayne paves the way for another one to be saved.
