Capone is a four year-old Chihuahua mix.
He was originally labeled ‘adoptable’ at the Shelter. This means he passed his Asilomar Accords, which is a standardized test the shelters use to determine adoptability. However, he didn’t adjust to kennel living and became depressed so he was put on the E-list for deterioration.
He’s still a bit nervous, but definitely much happier now he’s in a real home. He is being fostered with other dogs and gets along with them. Be careful though – because he’s a bit of an escape artist … so make sure the garage door is closed before entering the house.
He was kennel mates at the Pound with Dillinger and they are still best friends at their foster home. It would be nice if they could be adopted together.
