Bones's Story...
Hi there, my name is Bones! I came in as an owner surrender after my owner could no longer afford to keep me. My owner loves me and wants to give me the best life possible, so they hope I can find a loving home that can and will love me for the rest of my life! I am a great boy who loves to run around and play, dig holes, and do all the things that dogs love to do. I really enjoy children, so I'd love to find a family that had children for me to play with. I will be available for adoption on 2/14/13, so please come see me today!

Act quickly to adopt Bones. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bones, a Waycross Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Waycross, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Waycross.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waycross already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waycross breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waycross paves the way for another one to be saved.
