Suzie Q's Story...
Hi,

I'm Suzie Q! I'm a 1 year old female labrador retreiver. I was rescued from the East Valley shelter and all I want is a home of my own. My rescuers say I'm incredibly sweet and it's true, I love people! I really like other dogs to and am good with them. I'm not much of a jumper and am gentle and sweet but have a good amount of energy too. I'm medium energy for a young lab and would greatly enjoy some activities like walks as well. I'm even good on the leash!

If you'd like to apply for me, or any of my rescues other dogs, please email info@labsandfriends.org to request an application or go to their website at www.labsandfriends.org and download and fill one out. They can be scanned and emailed or faxed to 818-351-8148 (no cover needed)..

Thank you for rescuing!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Suzie Q, a Burbank Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Burbank, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Burbank.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Burbank already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Burbank breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Burbank paves the way for another one to be saved.
