Mola, a 4 year old purebred black pug, is a laid back fella who likes to be your shadow and can usually be found right by your side. He is potty trained and gets along well with other dogs. Recently recovering from surgery to remove a blockage in his intestine, this sweet baby is bouncing back and doing great. He loves to play with (and chew on!) toys and is playful and friendly once he warms up. A true lap dog, Mola loves to be fawned over and adored. And who can blame him? Pug Rescue of Austin is a nonprofit 501c3 organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of abused, neglected and unwanted pugs. We do not discriminate on the basis of health or age.
Our mission is to provide a safe, caring and humane refuge for abandoned pugs and to ensure quality adoptive homes.
Pug Rescue of Austin promotes responsible pug ownership through public education about the unique needs of pugs and a mandatory spay/neuter policy.
Adoption days are held at the Petco at Great Hills Trail in Austin, TX (9828 Great Hills Trail, Austin, TX 78759) every first and third Sunday from 1-3 (unless otherwise noted under events section of our website.)

Our policies, procedures, and fees are listed on our website and in our applications and contracts. We require an approved application prior to setting up a meeting (usually a home visit), a contract if the meeting goes well, and a trial adoption period before finalizing the adoption.
Adoption Fees
6 months and under: $350.00
7 mos to 4 years old: $300.00
5 to 9 years old: $250.00
10 to 11 years old: $200.00
12 and older: $100.00
