Teaco's Story...
Roses are red, violets are blue, I see a future filled with me and you, yeah, that’s the ticket. Hey out there, just saying that I am looking for that special someone, that one and only person that can just love me, this tiny bundle of joy. My background check is squeaky clean, was born to a stray mom, kittens had to go that sort of thing, blah, blah blah, everyone’s heard this all before. Anyway all my siblings have found their forever homes and I am the only one left. My name is Teaco and I’m a little boy kitty just over 10 weeks old and the epitome of cuteness. I am super playful, love other kitties. My life goal is to have my own home with another kitty buddy where we can provide endless hours of entertainment and have the life of luxury. So I’m saying do you have room for this wonderful little guy? Sure hoping to meet my special someone soon.

Please call CARE @ (804) 288-9797 and ask about Connie’s wonderful boy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Teaco, a Richmond Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
