Smokey's Story...
Smokey is such a sweet boy. He's about 5 years old. He is very bonded with his brother, Jumbo. They have been together their whole lives, so we would like to try and adopt them together before we allow anyone to adopt them separately. Their person lost her home and couldn't find anywhere that would take all fo her dogs, so she was forced to give up 2. She was heartbroken and you can tell these 2 were very loved and well taken care of. They've both have dentals in the last few years. These dogs are extremely sweet and even though they are going through a very traumatic and scary experience, losing everything that is familiar to them except for each other, they are not aggressive or nippy at all. These sweet guys deserve a forever home where they can be spoiled and live the rest of their lives together.
Their combined adoption fee is $350. This includes 2 coupon books from Petsmart, their shots, and they are fixed and ready for their new home.
Please email for more information or to adopt. Feel free to EMAIL if you are interested in just one, but we will hold off a couple of weeks before adopting them separately. If you are interested in --opting the pair, please email or call 801-643-9622

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Smokey, a Ogden Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Ogden, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Ogden.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ogden already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ogden breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ogden paves the way for another one to be saved.
