Teddy's Story...
Hi my name’s Teddy, I was born at the end of May, 2007. I was found sick and alone next to a wood pile when I was only 6 weeks old. My foster mom took me in and nursed me back to health with the help of Two Left Paws. Now that I am fit and healthy I really love to run around play with the other cats and the dog at my foster home. But people are my favorite, I love to be held and cuddled but if you are too busy to hold me I am quite happy just to follow you around just to be near you.

It would be really great if I could find a new home with my best buddy George, who is also on Save-a-Pet. We bonded as soon as he arrived at our foster home, and we are almost inseparable.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Teddy, a Sheboygan Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Sheboygan, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Sheboygan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sheboygan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sheboygan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sheboygan paves the way for another one to be saved.
