LEELAH's Story...
Meet Leelah, a 8 month old very lovable girl. She will be FUN for the whole family, she loves everyone she meets. She is HOUSETRAINED, sits on command and Leelah loves to play ball. Her eyes light up the minute she sees a ball, she will chase it and bring it back to you. Leelah is a happy girl who will give you a GIANT GRIN, lots of love and years of fun. About Our Shelter...
The Gloucester County Animal Shelter functions as an impoundment/adoption facility which temporarily houses lost,stray,unwanted or abandoned pets for 24 municipalities until such time as they are reclaimed by their owner,or adopted by a new owner.The Shelter also provides a 24-hour emergency service for calls regarding animals that are sick,injured or posing an immediate threat to the public.We also have an offsite adoption centers at the PetSmart stores located in Mantua & Turnersville which house over 20 cats for adoption.We have a very dedicated staff and volunteer core and work very hard to see that these homeless pets are given a second chance and placed in a proper homes.Once adopted they are delivered to one of our veterinarians to be spayed and neutered prior to going into their new home to insure that the animal cannot reproduce and at this time we are at 100% compliance.
