Zeus's Story...
Zeus was welcomed into MTGSR's program after learning that his owner had died. His family members came from all over the county for the funeral but no one could take him. Through the wonders of social networking, we became aware of the situation and made plans to get him as well as his little senior, female terrier friend (we couldn't leave her behind). Zeus is six years old and his owner was a very responsible doggie daddy...He has already been neutered and was current on his vaccinations. He is a sweet, well behaved boy who is housebroken and gets along well with kids and other dogs.

All dogs adopted from Middle Tennessee German Shepherd Rescue are spayed/neutered, current on all vaccinations and micro-chipped and the adoption fee is $200.If you are interested in getting more information about Zeus, please contact us at adoption.mtgsr@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zeus, a Nashville German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Nashville, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
