Wallynda's Story...
Wallynda is a DMH Brown Tortoiseshell Spayed Female, born approximately 05/16/11.

Wallynda is a very sweet, purry girl who may be a little shy until she gets to know you. She enjoys being picked up for a cuddle in your lap. She is curious, enjoying playing with all sorts of cat toys. She also likes to hunt and will capture a stray pencil for endless entertainment.

Wallynda was recently returned from her adoptive home due to their daughter's newly diagnosed allergies to cats and dogs. Wallynda gets along with cats of different ages and has had the company of a dog in her foster and adoptive home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wallynda, a North Highlands Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in North Highlands, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in North Highlands.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Highlands already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Highlands breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Highlands paves the way for another one to be saved.
